A few weeks after the launch of the Nokia 2.3 in India, this economical smartphone is now available in the US. It's mobile operators like AT&T and T-Mobile. It is also compatible with LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12 and 66. This phone is also compatible with operators such as Cricket, Tracfone and Simple Mobile.
After Microsoft bought Nokia's smartphone business and subsequently collapsed, HMD Global was formed from former Nokia leaders and aimed to give the Nokia brand a bit of revival. In 2020, Nokia has the reputation of bringing a wide variety of high-quality, low-cost, and no-frills Android smartphones to the world market.
The Nokia 2.3 was first introduced to the world in December 2019 (last month) for its launch in euros. Now we are basically getting the same device here in the United States.
This phone comes with Android 10 and is part of the Android One program. This smartphone will have GSM compatibility, which means that it is made primarily for AT&T and T-Mobile USA users here in the US. UU., Without Verizon or Sprint. There is no NFC, no USB-C (micro-USB instead), no fingerprint reader, or OLED brightness; Here you have IPS LCD technology.
What it does have is a 6.2-inch screen with 1520 × 720 pixels and a waterdrop notch for its front camera. You will have a power button, volume control, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. This phone has a microSD card slot and 32 GB of internal data storage.
Inside is a Mediatek Helio A22 SoC with a PowerVR GPU and 2 GB of RAM. On the back, there are a couple of cameras that should be able to capture some basically good photos and videos. One is 13 megapixels and acts as its main shooter. The other is a 2-megapixel camera placed specifically for depth detection.
This device should have impressive battery life given its relatively low pixel count screen and no extreme brightness, along with a 4000 mAh battery unit.
As of today, consumers can buy Nokia 2.3 for less than $ 100. If consumers are willing to activate their phones immediately, they can get this smartphone for $ 80 through Best Buy. Of course, consumers can also buy it on Amazon for $ 129.
Nokia 2.2 was launched in India with price tag of Rs. 8,199.
