Google has surprised us with ab early release of the first developer preview for Android 11 in the month of February which is one month early to the routine rollout of any preview version of the next version of Android OS by Google. Back in Aug-2019, before the launch of Android 10, Google announced that they will follow a numerical order instead of a crazy dessert naming tradition for its future versions of the operating system. So, Google ditches Android’s naming tradition and "Android Q" and "Android R" to be named as "Android 10" and "Android 11" respectively but it will be packed with updates and probably some long-awaited features.
We would expect the official announcement from Google on Android 11 in mid-2020, on Google IO 2020, which will run from May 12 to 14. The final stable build will begin to roll out to all eligible major smartphones from October 2020.
The Android 11 Developer Preview program runs from February 2020 until the final public release for AOSP and OEM, planned for the third quarter i.e Q3 of 2020.

The company plans to release two more developer previews and three public betas (Android 11 beta) before the stable release od Android 11.0 in Q3.
After launching 1st preview of Google 11 in the month of Feb, recently Google released the "Android 11 developer preview 1.1" for the next Android 11. The last preview of operating system 1 is available in Google Pixel 4 or 4XL, Pixel 3 or 3XL, Pixel 3a and Pixel 2 or 2 XL. Screen recording is something that Android users have always wanted and here it is finally. We heard rumors that it will come to Android 10, but Google couldn't do it.
