Latest OTA updates for Realme X2, 2, 3, 3i and C1 bring January 2020 security patches & more: Realme India

Google began sending Android security patches by January 2020 to all pixel models earlier this month. OEMs would be coming soon, including Chinese tech giant Realme. Realme had previously released the update for Realme 2 Pro and was soon followed by updates for Realme 2, 3, 3i and C1. The Realme X2 has now joined the party.

The Realme 2 and C1 updates mark the beginning of the RMX1805EX_11_A.63 version, in addition to bringing Android security patches for January 2020, the update also brings some minor bug fixes and system stability improvements. Here is the official change log of the ColorOS 6.0 update for Realme 2 and C1:

The ColorOS 6.0 update for Realme 3 (v.RMX1821EX_11.A.25) is a bit more complete compared to the one released for Realme 2 and Realme C1. Not only does it include Android security patches for January 2020, but it also brings a new flash function on call, a new quick lever for dark mode and more.

The Realme 3i also received a similar update (v.RMX1821EX_11.A.25) with the same features. Here is the official changelog for the ColorOS 6.0 update for Realme 3 and 3i:

  • Added flash on call feature.
  • Added click on the blank area to back to the launcher on a recent task interface.
  • Notification Center and Status Bar.
  • Fast switch added to toggle of dark mode in the notification center.

The update for the Realme X2 comes with the version number RMX1992EX_11.A.18 and, in addition to the Android security patch for January 2020, there are also some system optimizations and bug fixes.
