Earlier back to September, Redmi India launched the Redmi 8A entry-budget segment phone with a massive 5,000 mAh battery that supported an 18-watt fast charger. The company today launched the Redmi 8A Dual phone in the country India with an initial price of Rs. 6,499 (~ $ 91 only).

Smartphone Redmi 8A dual is an upgraded version of the Redmi 8A that features a new rear design along with an additional rear camera. It also comes with three color variants i.e. Sky White, Sea Blue, and Midnight Grey. To attract and retain the consumers, the Redmi 8A Dual has launched with an same price as the Redmi 8A.
The Redmi 8A Dual borrows many of its specifications from the original Redmi 8A phone.
Therefore, it features a 6.22-inch dot notch screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5 that supports an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and an HD + resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by 12 nm Snapdragon 439 soc with up to 3 GB of RAM. The smartphone offers an internal storage of 32 GB and a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage.

One of the key features of the Redmi 8A Dual is that Redmi 8A dual is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. The smartphone ships with a 10W fast charger.
The package of the giant battery allows users to charge other devices also using the reverse charge function. The Redmi 8A Dual can be quickly charged with an 18W fast charger.
Along with other new features available on the Redmi 8A Dual, it has an Aura X Grip design. The mesh texture on the back of the smartphone promotes a better grip and keeps fingerprint marks away. There is nano-coating P2i that makes the Redmi 8A Dual splash-proof.

The Redmi 8A dual comes with a single 12-megapixel rear camera. As the name hints, the Redmi 8A Dual features with a dual-camera configuration on its rear side that consists of a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth lens. AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, and Google lens are some of the features available for the rear cameras of the Redmi 8A Dual. The 8-mp selfie camera on the Redmi 8A Dual is good and also supports AI portrait mode.
Unfortunately, The Redmi 8A Dual lacks fingerprint features. The standard other connectivity features such as VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, USB-C, Bluetooth 4.2, and 3.5 mm audio jack are available on the device. Sea Blue, Sky White, and Midnight Gray are the color editions of the Redmi 8A Dual. The 2 GB of RAM + 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM + 32 GB of storage. These models have a price respectively of Rs. 6,499 (~ $ 91) and Rs. 6,999 (~ $ 98).
